After an unfortunate cancellation last week due to unexpected work commitments, I was super pleased when so many people showed up this week in Leon with needles at the ready for another Knitters, yeah! gathering.
In typical East London fashion, we had an actress, a writer, two photographers and an artist in attendance.Our novice knitters picked it up in no time at all and were raring for more, to the extent that we've decided to increase our meetings to once every fortnight! We also made light work of a bottle of red wine, a very good habit to get into.... More than half of the attendees had said what a rotten day they'd had, but knitting and a glass of wine proved to be the perfect remedy.
The next one will be next Monday, due to the loss of last week's meeting.
So come along next Monday, March 2nd at 6pm in Leon, Spitalfields.
